The project “10 wines that you have to taste until you’re alive” comes to the climax. The project organizer Palitra Media Holding will present its final version on March 7 at 19:00 at “Biblus Gallery” (Kandelaki 7). Minister of Agriculture Levan Davitashvili, heads of wine companies and representatives are invited to the event.
The project “10 wines that you have to taste while you are alive” started on October 15 at the “Georgian Wine Festival”, where the first blind tasting was held. You can vote online at all online web-site on allwine.ge and ambebi.ge, where up to 150,000 people have voted. In parallel, the project has arranged a number of events in public gatherings where the blind wine tasting and secret voting were on.
The guests gave the wine as a result of tasting that they did not know which species they were. Also, the survey form and the project imaging communications were printed in weekly editions of the newspaper “Kviris Palitra” and magazine “Gaz”. Overall, the community has a high involvement in the project. Selection of 10 types of wine is selected by the people.
According to the head of the project, Irakli Samashvili, this is not only a local and Georgian consumer project.
“The aim of the project is to reveal and popularize 10 best Georgian wine, both in the country and internationally. As a result of our activities, awareness and availability of selected Georgian wines will increase significantly. The selected 10 wines will become a Georgian card and will be the best gift for foreign visitors, “explains Irakli Samishvili.
According to the wines chosen by the people and the best wines revealed by the sommeliers, the wine gift / collector / tourist 5-5 bottles of packaging will be created. Preliminary results and presumed list of wine species are already known. Currently, the selection process for companies that are producing the best wines of these species.
On March 7, at 19:00, the Biblus Gallery will gather at the presentation of the project – “10 Wines That Will Have Taste Before You Live” culminating in the project. The event is closed.
